A SONG OF REMEMBRANCE
Some lives are held for only a moment. They are loved for a lifetime. A quiet place for mothers and families carrying the loss of a baby, with a song, a prayer, and room to remember.

OF ASH & LIGHT / ONE CHILDHOOD DREAM · TWO ALBUMS
Ever since I was a boy, I dreamed of a place where children and adults could step through the same gates and feel that anything wonderful might be waiting on the other side. A place of adventure, laughter, and belonging—where grown-ups could remember how to wonder, and children could feel free to dream.
— Darrin Hayward, creator of Of Ash & Light
Celestial World is that childhood dream given a soundtrack. Across two albums, Of Ash & Light invites you into an imagined world of golden paths, soaring rides, gardens of grace, and a sky alive with possibility. At its heart is the hope and love of Jesus Christ: a light to carry through every adventure.
CELESTIAL WORLD / PART 1
Golden gates, cloud-lined paths, and the promise of discovery. Part 1 welcomes you into the world that began with a boy’s imagination.
This is an imagined musical world of faith, adventure, and belonging, created for the child in all of us.
Songs and videos will be added here when ready.
CELESTIAL WORLD / PART 2
As the lights come on and the sky fills with colour, Part 2 invites you farther into Celestial World—where the adventure carries on beneath the stars.
This is an imagined musical world of faith, adventure, and belonging, created for the child in all of us.
Songs and videos will be added here when ready.
Come with wonder. There is room for you here.

MEET OUR MASCOT / A LITTLE LIGHT FOR THE JOURNEY
Small paws. Brave heart. A light to share.
Luma is the little lantern-bearer of Of Ash & Light—a loyal, courageous fox who reminds us that even in the darkest places, there is still light.
With soft gray-and-cream fur, star-bright eyes, and a golden lantern held close, she represents hope, healing, and the journey from darkness into light. Her gentle presence belongs beside the music and stories: a companion for quiet nights, difficult roads, and new beginnings.
Luma carries the heart of our message in her own small way. You are not alone on the journey, and even a little light can help us take the next step.
“Even in the dark… there is still light.”
THE ARCHITECT / THE HEART BEHIND THE MESSAGE
FOUNDER · SONGWRITER · PRODUCER
The storyteller. The songwriter. The vision. Darrin is the architect behind the message, the sound, and the vision of Of Ash & Light.
Born in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada, in 1969, Darrin draws on small-town roots, prairie skies, and deep faith. His songs carry pieces of real life: memory, pain, healing, and the hope that gives the journey purpose.
“I don’t seek the spotlight.
I seek the purpose.”
A MESSAGE FROM DARRIN
May every song remind you of the love Jesus Christ has for you.
05 / WHY WE CREATE
Of Ash & Light exists to glorify Jesus Christ and share the good news of salvation through Him. Our music, stories, and imagined worlds are creative invitations to discover the Savior who died for our sins, rose again, and offers forgiveness and new life.
Jesus is the center of our purpose. We create to make His love known, encourage faith, and invite people to turn to Him. Questions are welcome here. Our deepest hope is that, beyond a song or a story, you will come to know Jesus Christ.
“To give them beauty for ashes…”ISAIAH 61:3 · KJV
